and now I play the game more than he does. Game is awesome. I'm not much of a gamer, but I have been glued to this one lately.

Is Arkham Asylum about the same? Will probably pick that one up next.

I prefer Asylum over City, though I know I'm in the minority there. It's a much more focused experience but if you like City, you'll probably like it too.

Just be aware that you'll have less combat options in Asylum, since they expanded the combat in City.

This. It would be hard for me to play them out of order because of the mechanics upgrades from Asylum to City, but Asylum is also a great game.

I think asylum and city offer two unique experiences

City is more visceral I suppose. Asylum has more of a horror element and is more "fantastic"

I really don't find it debatable as to what's the better game. City's combat is so much better than asylum. Now, I can easily see why people prefer asylum and it does do some things better, but the game boils down to combat

Kind of hardcore for a 4 year old. Should have stuck with Lego Batman or something like that.

But glad you're enjoying it. It's a great game.

Would like to see a four year old's reaction to the first time Scarecrow shows up in Asylum.

I think a four year old would have a tough time with Mr Freeze in City.

City is more open world. I was kind of overwhelmed with it at first.

Asylum is more linear, but it's not a bad thing at all. I love the story in Asylum a lot more than City. Exploring Arkham was a Batman nerd's dream.

he likes scary stuff. He's seen Nightmare before X-mas a million times, and that movie is pretty freaky for a toddler.

I liked Asylum's story line much better but the fighting mechanics in City were better.

Not as open, but still a great game. I would recommend playing it. Probably would have played it before City, but it's not necessary.

Game is so great. I'm not much of a gamer, but I can put this game in and play it for a few days straight and beat it and it's still as fun as the first time.
