You're at a restaurant, and you order a plate of food and an iced tea. When your tea comes, you taste it and find it to not be any good. You then order a water and enjoy your meal. The check comes and the tea is on your bill. Do you just pay for it, or do you ask to have it removed from the bill.

I would tell them so they can throw out the bad batch of tea. I wouldn't worry about two bucks on the bill.

Did you tell them specifically that you wanted the water because you couldn't drink the tea, or did you just ask for a water?
