Enes Kanter walked through the locker room, but needed assistance to get there. Limping very badly, not putting any weight on his foot.

Enes Kanter called this left ankle sprain a "6 or 7" out of 10 pain-wise. Also had minor sprain of right ankle in Dallas. He's beat up.

Reveling in a rival's injury is asking for bad things to happen to you back, but there's nothing wrong with appreciating opportunities the basketball gods throw your way.

The basketball gods may have allowed us an opportunity, but we have monty Williams. The god-slayer

It's as simple as winning and not worrying about OKC. We win we are in. We have had to deal with our share of injuries. Hopefully this does derail them a little bit but they still have Westbrook and Durant coming back soon. With no real time table for Jrue or even Ryan the pressure still on.

Couldn't have been more evident in the Nuggets game.

Kanter may be more important to them than Ibaka, although Adams is still a boss.

Durant went from going through parts of practice last Saturday to now not practicing at all.

@anthonyVslater: News on Kevin Durant today concerning. Soreness/foot issues just continue to linger. Doing less court work than this time last week.

If you replaced Durant's name with Jrue Holiday in these tweets, would anyone know the difference?

I was just thinking the same thing. Both our medical staffs have to be bottom of the NBA

There's probably been a lot of turnover on both sides since then, but we are the team that dumped Tyson Chandler, and OKC is the team that agreed to trade for him and then voided the trade after their doctors came to the same conclusion as ours.

I think a lot of it is horrible PR. They're trying to keep hope alive, but it ends up building a bigger mess when things aren't as rosy as we were told the week before.

It's basically a more tactful approach than Chicago throwing Rose under the bus when their doctors said he was healthy enough to go.

Hard to say with Ibaka. Dude has turned himself into an enigma with his joy for threes. That was not jiving with Durant earlier in the year, but it may help out Westbrook wit spacing. Time will tell.

And Charlotte dumped him (and Ajinça!) for Najera, Matt Carroll, and Dampier. Talk about lopsided hindsight trade.

I'm happy Chandler returned to form i(though not happy about the Dallas part) and has stayed relatively healthy. Bower made plenty of dumb basketball moves, but I don't think this was one of them. Chemistry wise, of course, it absolutely killed that team. But he had a broke owner and a big with bad feet. OKC and Charlotte thought very little of Chandler's prospects too. You just never know with injuries.

True, look at Eric Gordon. If Demps had paid to dump him last year fans would have applauded the move then but ripped it this year every time he had a good game for another team.

Sam Presti will address the media at 12:30 PM EST about the status of Kevin Durant.

Makes me think that he's either returning soon or getting shut down for the season. No reason to have a statement about "no news."

Why would the GM announce he's returning? That seems like a coaching function. So do injury updates though so him getting shut down seems likely. "Kevin really wants to play, I'm the bad guy here." does seem like a GM's job.
