Yes interview, when they ask why you accepted the interview just say you called me and I'm curios or something like everyone is always looking for a new job at the right price.

1. Management thanks you for your forthright attitude and does something about it. You keep working there

2. Management gets pissed at you for being so forthright. You quit, because if they are going to fault you for uncovering corruption then you don't want to work there. It'll just bite you in the arse later on.

Terrible advice to what I would guess is a 24 yr old guy just starting his career. Just walk away. No need to risk burning a bridge in his industry. Maybe when you're older, but not as a fresh faced 1 year newb.

Not that I endorse the previous post laying out the embezzlement, but if such a thing were true and you stating that to management constitutes "burning a bridge" I'd have to wonder why so many in management are pussies.

Read the OP...apparently someone spoke to management about the "embezzlement" because he suspects young kingbob of doing so. Considering that fact, either the charge wasn't legit or management is looking the other way for any number of reasons you can imagine...so would it be wise for young kingbob with 1 year under his belt to leave raising a stink over this? Where is there any upside?

I'm not saying he should say anything. I'm saying management would be serious pussies if it bothered them (if the allegations are true).

Maybe they are - no reason to find out.

Everyone should interview at least once a year whether they're looking for a job or not. This is important because it keeps your interview skills updated and when you finally do go for a job that you want, you'll have practice and know what to talk about.

Best response in this thread. If you are only a year or so out of school, I can almost promise you that you are a poor interview (at least for certain companies).

Interview experience is pure gold. Different companies use different methods, from the STAR method to the interview panel method - and it's important to know how to succeed in various types.

Good advice, everyone (except for the people telling me to make a scene if I quit)

Definitely don't make a scene. I know a few people in my company that left and got hired back for senior roles because they were well liked. If you stay in touch and have good relationships, when those senior guys move on you can always try and position yourself for consideration.

Sounds like this "issue" with your supervisor is going to turn out to be a huge positive for you both financially and quality of life. Good luck

Congratulations! It's a much better feeling to have companies bidding over you and wanting you than it is being desperate to get a job. Keep on keeping on brotha!
