CP3's running boards are sitting in the garage right now. He had to take them off cuz it looked weird with his 50" light bar and salt life sticker

I just bought a '13 FX2 5.0 with 13K miles for $29K before TTL. Sunroof, Nav, leather, sony sound system. Love it.

So... The OB is wise beyond its years. I've been haggling and currently have two dealers duking it out for my business for basically identical trucks: New 2014 XLT supercrew 302a luxury interior package. One is gray interior, one tan. The gray is the "off road" edition but the tan has rear locking axle and skid plate, just no sticker. Same truck essentially. $21.9k after trade. Both have the payments within dollars of each other. Only thing to decide now is which interior I need. Thanks to all who offered guidance. I'm hoping I can close a deal in the coming days. 
So...tan or gray? Tan seems like it'd be hard to keep clean but man it's sharp.

the off road package should have the skids plates and sticker...if it were me id go tan. the gray leather looks cheap IMO. my wife has the tan leather in her explorer, and her jeans made it turn a hint blue but it comes right off with cleaner..no big deal. id get the one with locking diff and skid plates. its your truck though so buy what you want. i have the fx4 and like the all painted look and black leather. its what you want not some guys on the OB lol

The tan has plates too. It's the same truck minus the sticker.
And yeah I know what I want and, it's the tan one. But when you tell me that jeans turn it blue it makes me wonder

I have the XLT luxury package and the off road package with the Adobe interrior. I really like it. More than the black in the fx4 (coworker has one and its nice but all that black is not my style).
The off road pkg (same as on the fx4 (off road) is skid plates, locking 3.55 rear end and maybe shocks. the Fx is an "appearance"/Interior trim level. So the truck you are looking at is a XLT 4x4 off road vs a "fx 4x4 off road"

Gotcha. The limited amount that I truly go "off road" is negligible. I'm not gonna go trying to get it stuck if you know what I mean.

I know man, it was the only truck on the lot in the color inside and out that I want. I got a good deal so I said why not get it especially since Im hunting or fishing year round.

Tan. I have it in mine and it's easy to clean. Black interior

What's the exterior color on the tan?
Only thing I didn't get on mine was the sunroof. Not a huge deal but would have been nice to have.

Oh yeah, definitely go with the tan. 
I just got a new Sierra in September that's green with the tan interior. Nothing like a new truck, whether it be new or "new to you". Buying a truck is always fun.

it may just be her explorer. i have a buddy with the same black xlt with tan adobe leather and he has no issues. its a sweet looking truck! go tan with the black!

Edge of my bolster on my tan leather seats are blue from my jeans. I've heard it comes off easily but I have never tried to clean it.

I have a 2014. 29k miles. I'm having to put 4 new rotors on it tomorrow because all 4 are warped beyond being able to turn them. Other than that no issues. But that sucks.
