Lester, why does the NFL have an official stance on the Saints' personnel moves?

You are so cool and edgy.

It is a quote from one of their podcast. Who cares?

1. It's bad business
2. It creates a conflict of interest
3. It's unprofessional
4. It goes against common sense

Whoever sent that out definitely needs to be reprimanded

If you were working for a Fortune 500 company and something confidential was said in a board meeting and then the company's PR person quoted it on twitter, don't you think that would be a problem?

In the end this goes back to twitter being stupid. But if you are going to use it as an official outlet it should be used to transmit official information. Not BillyBob the janitor's opinion on something.

I do kinda find it odd that the NFL's official twitter handle tweeted out that podcast teaser. But I'm not offended. Nor do I think anyone needs to be reprimanded.

But I did think the Saints' response was pretty funny. And I do get a little enjoyment out of the fact that it's pretty obvious there is real friction between the Saints and the NFL.

First, and foremost, I don't care if it's from a podcast or note attached to a pigeon's leg...any entity associated with the league shouldn't be voicing such an opinion.

This just puts a huge spotlight on the problem of the league having a network.

Well, they're right. The 2015 Super Bowl has already been played. The Saints can win it in 2016, though.

You're obviously correct, but you and I both know that's not what was meant.

OP said "banter between NFL and Saints Twitters" and then posted tweets. I'm sorry for not connecting the dots between Twitter and podcasts, Lester.
