That really amazes me. I was sweating even getting in. What would our seed have been without these awful losses? 4 maybe? We really screwed ourselves out of a really good seed

Once again... The committee values wins over losses. They look at who you beat rather than who you lost to. We beat 13 teams that are top 100 RPI.

I wasn't sweating it but I'm surprised at a 9 seed.

Can you guys ever just sit back and be happy for once?

The 9 seed shows LSU was a stone-cold lock to make the NCAAT, something LSU hasn't done in 5 years.

Don't try to figure out the Committee ... I think UGA was a 10 seed.

Committee really favored power confs.

I was surprised Ind, UCLA, Texas, LSU were seeded as high as they were.

I like LSU's draw as good as any 8/9 in awhile outside of the draw Butler got in 2011.

Of course they had to beat the buzzer in the first round.

So where are the wins for UCLA outside of Utah?

A great season for lSU... Making the torney is a goal for sure/.... Lets just hope they don't come out and play like they did the 2nd time against TENN or the two times they lost to AU....

LSU was what, 13-5 vs top 100 RPI? Committee values that much more than the bad loses.

I wonder, were we a predetermined #9 seed coming into the weekend no matter what happened against Auburn? The committee probably knew Kentucky was winning the SEC Tournament, so taking into account that Auburn was probably going to be our only tournament game.

UCLA had no business being in. If LSU had not gotten in because of them, I would have blown a gasket. Texas A&M, in that case, got jobbed.

Think of it this way...

LSU had it's worst case scenario in the SECT. AU beats TAMU, AU beats LSU. And LSU still ends up as 9 seed. Means they were a stone cold lock going into SECT, to the dismay of many posters.

For UCLA, the committee chair said they passed the "eye-test".

Makes sense...
