I have run into a few of those mentioned here in So Cal...
Clooney - was filming a commercial for a Nestle coffee maker to be sold in Europe. During breaks he was smiling and talking to folks that passed by, He seemed like a good guy.
Sean Penn - surprisingly nice. I was in front of a restaurant trying to soothe my then toddler daughter. He and Robin Wright were waiting to get their car from a valet. He talked to us and empathized with me having a crying kid.
Tim Robbins - We were sitting near each other having lunch. The place wasn't at all crowded. I told him I enjoyed his movies. His only reply was. "I'm trying to eat".
Val Kilmer - douche - a lady asked for a picture with him. He said no and actually pushed her phone away. He hasnt aged well at all.

Yeah Luke Wilson seems cool as frick. Awesome that you got to hang with him. He seems like a chill and funny cat to hang with.

From what little I have heard about her she's pretty much the opposite of her character on the show. Loves her fans, spends time with her family, and so on. She might be super evil in real life, but she seems very pleasant.

I was an extra in a movie with Jackie Gleason. Total jackass. Richard Pryor and Ned Beatty were also in the movie and were cool ~ hung out with the extras, took pictures, etc.
My sister met Tom Cruise when he was filming Top Gun in San Diego ~ they filmed parts of it in my brother-in-laws' squadron. He was the CO. Anyway, that was before he got weird ~ she said he was really nice and polite.

Jenny McCarthy was falling down intoxicated during an 11:30AM filming at which she was abusive toward everyone present. This was around the same time as she started blaming her son's autism on vaccines.

Thanks for the insight. It was more a compliment as to how well she plays the part.

De Nero was really nice when making his boxing flick
John Goodman is another very nice guy, just don't bother him at the driving range, I saw him lay into a guy at City Park.
I've heard from a cousin that Aziz Asari and Chris Pine are awesome and fun to hang out with.
Jason Clarke gave me a fat tip when I got his oven fixed right away.
Saw Brad Pit at 13 on Frenchmen once, I didn't approach him, but he took pics with anyone that did.

Dave Franco lived in an apt above a friend of mine on Prytania back in 2011/2012 and he was cool as shite. He wasn't really known for much then other than being James Franco's brother then, but he'd come down and party with us often. He was a really cool dude.

The ironic thing in that is Jim Carrey has more talent in the loads he was blowing all over Jenny McCarthy's tits than Tommy Lee Jones could ever think of having. I'm shocked to hear that Matt Damon is a jerk. I always thought he was a cool guy -- he married a bartender who was a single mom and way out of the Hollywood scene.
