im only six tracks in, but you can tell this album is going to be polarizing as fuuuuuuck
Oh yeah, very different from GKMC. I don't think there's going to be any middle ground. Personally, I love the album/LP but I can see where people are going to be at the opposite end

The end of Mortal Man

Refreshing production from start to finish, and his versatility is what really shines this time around imo. After the first spin, How Much a Dollar Cost was the highlight for me. Pretty sure a Jay Elec verse on that cut would've knocked me into a lyrically induced coma.

Some quick first thoughts after finishing it the first time. When I first saw people's first response, I was kind of hesitant. I was dumb for bring so. Kendrick pulls off a great album that has a distinct funk vibe. Kendrick did a great job showing his versatility. High point u and mortal men

ive decided that "you said your name was lucy/I asked wheres ricardo?/you said "oh no not the show!" is the best one liner on the album

He killed Drake's album with this album.

What song is that with him calling out Drake?? Also this album is an instant classic. This will go down as one of the most important Hip Hop Albums of all time.

This isn't as much of a hip hop album as it is a work of art..and it is a great work of art. I doubt I listen to this anywhere near as much as section 80 or g.k.m.c. however.

For Free? may be the worst song I've ever heard.
