Another ACT spinoff---Were you hungover when you took it?

Seems like half the people I know claim they were "so hungover" when taking the ACT.
Is this supposed to make you sound cool?

I didn't even take it. I went in and slept on the desk after writing my name and got a 30.

I got fricked up every day in high school so yea, I was hungover

No. But i was hungover in the practice course and fell asleep during the part that I needed help learning the most

It is either a complete lie or they were hungover one of the 5 times they took it, therefore they were "hungover when they took it".

I was hungover the next day. Our junior prom was on the same day that I took the ACT, so can't say that I really prepared for it. Got a 30. My GPA did not correlate with my score
ETA: That was the second time I took the test. First time was the year before that and I got a 28. No distractions for that one. Guess I just got lucky the second time. My group of friends as a whole did much better on the second taking, which is kind of surprising I think.

I absolutely was hungover when i took day 2 of Step 3 but that test is a joke.

People like to brag that they breezed through classes in college, standardized tests, etc because if you're not trying as hard you're cooler. Same thing with being hungover. You're not an OT baller if you weren't throwing up in the middle of your ACT.
ETA: while making a 34 mind you. Of course if you had really tried you could have made a 36. But ain't nobody got time for that.

Dropped acid the night before, pulled an all nighter, smoked a roach to settle me down a bit before the test.

The first time I made a 24 (not hungover) and LSU was going to let me in if I took a summer class because my GPA was shite.
I was cool with that, but had already signed up to take it again. Rather than wasting money and just not going I went hungover. I ended up making a 26 and they didn't make me take the summer class.
Apparently I can't fricking read.
Math- 28
Science- 28
English- 29
Reading- 19
They also didn't have a clock in the room I was taking it in so I thought I was going to do way worse than the first time.
