Colts- 1st round pick (#26)for Richardson

Seahawks- 1st round pick(#25), 4th round pick(2014), and 7th round pick for Harvin

I find it odd that the two teams that came up so much for so little both made their conference title games. Seahawks got an even worse deal when they gave harvin $18.5 million for 6 regular season games.

Harvin made 2 big plays in Super Bowl. They don't care.

Wasn't the general consensus that the Browns got hosed on that trade when they initially made it?

yup, people said the browns were ludicrous for trading their franchise RB that only sucked because they had no weapons outside of him. he was their cornerstone, their do it all guy.

Richardson
Harvin
One of these is not like the other. . .

Harvin was coming off a season in which he was on pace to possibly be MVP before being injured. Richardson had never shown much productivity. Also, Harvin scored a TD for Seattle in their Super Bowl victory. So, I'd say there's no comparison between which trade was worse.

the Browns used that pick on JFF.

The Seahawks haven't paid the price for that Harvin trade. They won a Super Bowl with him and then dumped him on their way to another one.

plus, they got a 4th round pick from the Saints this year in the Jimmy Graham trade. That 4th rounder could perhaps make up for the one they lost in the Harvin trade?????

They would have been better off keeping Richardson

Seattle won a Super Bowl and Harvin made two nice plays in that, so I will take Richardson.

These threads are ridiculous because you are looking at them with the benefit of hindsight. Those trades probably made sense at the time.

i think its colts/richardson by a mile.

the seahawks traded for talent. percey is talented. now, hes a headcase, too. but hes really special when not injured.

the colts saw a pedestrian RB, already in the NFL, and thought he was worth a 1st rd pick. i will cut the browns some slack for drafting TR. he had alot of hype and seemed like a safe pick. but he was below average from the beginning. i give the browns ton of credit for shipping him out of town the second they found a sucker to pawn him off on and got huge return(a 1st rd pick) for him. i think trading for TR was an all time egregious GM blunder that will always have me wondering if ryan grigson is terrible, but got to draft andrew luck, so its not as obvious.

As of right now, its got to be the Redskins and trading up for Robert Griffin.
