Who do you start tomorrow night against LHP Christian Trent?

Trent ate us up this year, but is arguably the 2nd best pitcher on Ole Miss' staff this season as Bramlett has been dominant. That being said Bramlett is a big power right hander where as Trent is a lefty...so who are we starting tomorrow night?
ETA: Lineup speaking, we all know Poche is starting at P

Stay with your rotation. Poche, Lange, Godfrey. If Lange keeps developing, move him to Friday night late in the season.

Edited OP, meant to ask the lineup, we all know Poche is starting

Staff is set Poche Lange and Godfrey
Poche doesn't have best stuff but he will compete and is a perfect fri guy to handle that pressure

They'll probably start the lineup they had against McNeese
or
they'll put Foster in left and Robertson at 2nd. Sit Fraley.

This is what im hoping they don't do, Fraley is too good to sit on an SEC weekend.

their pitching is decent, but their sticks aren't near as good
i predict friday and saturday games will be close (hopefully we can win both) and sunday we will blow them out (their 3rd starter isn't great)

Trent ate us up last year...and they have a pitcher better than him on the 2nd day now.
They just cant hit worth a damn this year.

Isn't it swell how Maineri deems that certain players can't hit left-handed or right-handed pitchers without have any a solid set of data to support it? It's the ole "Tyler Moore can't hit lefties" nonsense. Yeah, if you never give them a chance.
Didn't I see bbap clowning other posters for making comments after "only 35 at bats"? Yet Mainieri makes these absolutes that this hitter can't hit lefties after about 3 at bats.

Well for starters Tyler Moore didnt hit lefties well until his last year. He did have chances against them and looked bad. So that is what PM was basing it on. But TM grew up as a hitter. I agree he should have played more last year.
Dont know that he necessarily thinks Foster cant hit righties and Fraley cant hit lefties. But they're pretty neck and neck right now so in order to give them both playing time it's a pretty easy decision to make.
Unless he wants to play Foster at 2nd which it seems he's thinking hard about. That should show you right there that even PM doesnt want to platoon them. There are just only so many spots in the lineup.
And no i didnt make the 35 at bats post but i do agree with it. Mainly because Bregman has a data set of 2 years prior to those 35 at bats where he has proven he's the best hitter on our team.

He was the third best hitter in 2013, and hitting about .260 three-fourths of the way through 2014.
But the kid is a good player, no doubt. Glad he is a Tiger.

Yes but the two better hitters are long gone. So they dont really factor into the decision making when deciding where to hit Bregman.
DH Foster is fine but Chinea has scorched LHP for 3 years now.
The best move would be to DH Foster(or Fraley...really doesnt matter) against righties but for whatever reason he hasnt gone that route yet. Also he should be DH'ing Scivicque on the days he isnt catching.

see, this is how you have a discussion.
