Possible Modern Warfare 2 Remake?

A petition to the game developer Activision has reached over 100,000 signatures to remake Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox One and PS4. Honestly I would be all for it if they made a few changes. Probably one of my favorite games ever.

Doubt it. With the way that game was handled between Vince, Jason, and Activision, we'll never see that game ever again.

This is all just hilarious to me. I too enjoyed MW2. I put more hours into it than any other game. I also recall a lot of bitching about it back when it was new. And people have complained that every COD release has been a re-skin of the last one. And now, there's a petition to literally re-skin an old game.
I also love that the petition suggests gameplay changes (i.e., sorting out the noob tubing) on top of it.
And we continue to ask why the publishers won't listen to the gaming community.

Yeah we are quick to fall in love with how the old games used to be. I think they will run out of ideas soon... what comes next after advanced warfare? I think they will one day settle for a remake cause they know its a easy money scam. Not like they need the money anyway

I want to see a remake of Call of Duty 3. The one game in the franchise that is Xbox 360 exclusive. How about a remake of the PS2 games?

MW2 had my favorite COD campaign but as far as multiplayer goes I miss COD black ops 2 ever since then I haven't liked any COD multiplayer's.

If love just a straight remake of cod4 or WaW based on the simplicity alone.
I'd take mw2 or BLOPs due to just how well done they were from top to bottom

Did you give Advanced Warfare a try? its not horrible. The jet pack boost jump wasnt the best idea but its manageable.. they had classic mode on the game (without the boost jumps) and it was actually a decent game.

Advanced Warefare wasn't too bad but I could never really get into it IMO it felt like a less fun Titanfall.

Call of duty 4 was the best. You weren't getting killed by air strikes or stupid shite every 8 seconds like the rest of them.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare will always be my favorite. My friends and I recently set up our 360s and have been playing it.

Lol at people that say take oma tube and the game would be perfect. Mw2 was literally the most broken cod however the most fun cod game. I know some will disagree but if not for tubes. It would have heartbeat sensor nuke campers. Commando pro knifers. Intervention quick scopers. Cross map ump with silencers. We would be better off with a remade 3arc title. Remove ghost and last stand from Bo1 add dedicated servers and it would be the greatest game of all time
