Is downtown/warehouse district housing going to continue to see prices sky rocket?

Yup. I remember a couple summers ago driving through Gert Town and Mid City. There was one side street off of Banks where every house had either been just recently renovated or was in the process of being renovated.

The new LSU/LCMC hospital is opening in August and the VA is opening next year (I believe). Definitely see that bringing in new physicians.

Probably. The amount of residential development going on in the CBD alone is incredible. The "dead zone" along/around Loyola, between Poydras and Canal, could be unrecognizable in a few years.

SMD is also blowing up with 700+ apartments being built, along with restaurants, grocers, etc...
