And it's awesome

I went last night after beers at Barcadia. They were closing up around 8:45 but I talked to the owner- she said they'd been open around 3 weeks and despite the confusion that was going to come about with a Chinese place becoming a Viet place, they are doing every dish exactly as its prepared at the original location.

I got the combination banh mi and combination pho.

Very good. Broth was deep and just fatty enough. I ate the banh mi at around 1 am and it was delicious.

This place should stay packed despite the Chimes street curse.

Give them your patronage.

This the same folks from Florida and Sherwood, that relocated a few years ago across the street next door to the Baskin Robbins?

Sweet. no more having to drive to Asia for Pho!

I wonder what all the confusion was about? I am little confused by your post. You went to the new location or the old?

Yes, same owners at Little Saigon, next to the Baskin Robbins.

I went to the new one, walked from Barcadia down chimes street and got the last bowl of pho in the place. Owner talked to me for a while about keeping it consistent, making the broths in house and keeping everything just right. Didn't mean to be confusing.

We need a nine roses in baton rouge!

That menu looks a little pricey.. I think they would be better off with slightly cheaper prices to lure in customers to try out the food.

$5 for 2 egg rolls..

Slimmed down menu. And yes, it's $12 for the most expensive thing on the menu which not many humans can eat in one sitting.

Y'all some sour grapes MFs
