If you had a friend or loved one with the first name Isis...

would you encourage them to get a legal name change? Woman that works at my local bank has the name Isis.

That is pretty unfortunate. I knew a Katrina that hated her name post-hurricane.
Maybe just start going by her middle name if it's a solid one. Although judging by that first name, it doesn't sound like her parents are the best with names. Isis is a shitty name regardless of the problems in the Middle East.

American express had some deal that the AT&T wireless guy was trying to get me to sign up for that was named Isis. They have since changed it to something else

I've been watching Downton on Amazon and always thought the dog's name was funny, but since we weren't watching the episodes as they came out, I never put 2 and 2 together. Never thought about the dogs death and ISIS gaining a name for itself at the same time

Why couldn't they just have a scene with Robert's family saying "Why don't you just call the dog by her real name Franchesca instead of that silly nickname Isis father" Nope...had to kill off the doggie
