Type-O, Bloodborne, Hardline all come out in the next 2 weeks too. My backlog is getting larger and larger.

This. Some of us have plenty to play

Perfectly understandable but there are plenty of games, just not what you like

eta: Some are predicting an Uncharted remaster trilogy for the holidays now. Not sure if it is just speculation or there is actual evidence.

This generation caught the developers off guard. The glitchy, disappointing exclusives should have been what we got at launch not over a year end. Games just take longer to make now

How do you have such a passionate opinion on everything? Between here, the movie board and saints talk, I can't escape your complaining.

Come on now. There are plenty of good games available now and on the horizon.

LINK

Furthermore, there's usually at least one game every year that seems to come out of no where and surprise everyone.

Let me guess. Ray Rice was "literally" more disgusting than Hitler and death was the only acceptable punishment.

As much as I liked the Uncharted games, I think I'd pass on this if it were true. The Uncharted games are great one (maybe 2) time experiences but there's not enough there to bring me back again. Besides, those games already look fantastic. I'm sure they can look better but we're really getting into diminishing returns here.

I think he may be the one who was hell bent on bringing Goodell down with him. I may be off though.

Which ones really fit this though? Halo and The:Order?

Halo has been fixed for the most part and is a blast to play now.

The Order was sort of a price point vs. amount of content thing. People who have played it on here have said good things about it.

I've been super happy as a gamer during this generation. I finished off Dying Light a couple weeks ago and have been playing coop with friends. Played about an hour of Ori and the Blind Forest this morning and really enjoyed.

People seem to have a way of ignoring all the good games that have come out and focus on the let downs.

It was all about goodell. I think he started a new thread about him every 5 minutes.

Oh yeah, I remember now. I remember a thread about how Goodell ordered pizza for everyone in a meeting and they quivered in fear as they all waited for him to get a slice first before they ate any. Goodell never took a slice so all the pizza went to waste and the people in the meeting nearly starved. The OP used this as evidence that Goodell was a tyrant that used fear to get what he wants. Was that your thread Fox?

Most of the best games are available on other platforms. There are a whole lot of rather average exclusives that should be solid starts to new franchises; but the exclusives as they exist now certainly haven't lived up to the hype. Even established franchises struggle under the weight of establishing groundwork for next gen releasing bug filled products or products lacking in features.

People are also hell bent on getting their big AAA games. More people need to embrace indies because they are making great games.

Why does that matter? Good games are good games, and there are plenty of them. Why does it have to be an exclusive to count?

Indy games are almost always available on other platforms and there are millions of them popping up every day. I barely find non-Indy games on Steam anymore because of how inundated that platform has become with Indy games.

Most Indy games are either too artsy for my liking or to obsessed with NES gaming nostalgia. I also want to see games push the limits of the hardware. Most Indy games can be ran on my cell phone.

There are only a handful of Indy titles I've enjoyed playing.
