I have been to the El Dorado Seaside in the same area. Really enjoyed the resort and would go back. Everything was clean, food was good, drinks were good(order a mojito), and the beach was great.

If it's anything like seaside suites or azul in riviera maya, run by same company, it's awesome.

Went there with a group for wedding last October. We had a great time. It's definitely geared to couples, which was weird for us as a wedding party.

The food isn't bad at all. The Italian place is the best restaurant. The portions are mostly small, but don't be bashful, we started ordering 2 or 3 things at a time.

The bad: The beach sucks. There's the huge sand bags in the water and there isn't that much beachfront. Granted, I haven't been anywhere else in that area to compare.

Appreciate the info. I heard the portions at the restaurants were pretty small, but like you, other I read said they just started ordering multiple items. Sucks to hear about the beach. I hope that was temporary with the sand bags

Been to the playa del carmen one. Great resort. No kids which was a plus. All inclusive was key, food was great, drinks and resort activities were great too. Beach was bad only because most of the water had storm surge protectors.

Went in October last year. Very peaceful. Staff is really on their game. We stayed in the presidential area. Food was ok. Food was better next door in the resort with the kids. Beach is not great for swimming if that's what your are looking for.

no review, but i will actually be going there in July.

numerous of my friends love this place and keep going there as opposed to new places in Playa, Cozumel, or Cancun. We're going with a couple that has been 2x before and only will go back there for Mexico vacations.
