#8 Wichita State loses to Illinois State in MVC tourney.

Not that many care, but that gives the MVC a shot at being a 3 bid team this year. Also potential to burst some bubbles if Illinois St. can steal a bid tomorrow. Conference tourneys already off to a great start.

ISU had next highest ticket allotment sold to Wichita. So not many unless Wichita fans stay. Wouldn't count on it.

Why? I think it makes it more exciting. Yeah, you could argue ISU would waste a spot in the tourny because it has no chance of winning.. but the only teams whose bubbles are burst this late in the season also had no chance of winning.

I'm in scottrade right now. Wichita had half the arena. I'm sitting in uni territory, once isu took the lead, everyone turned it on for them.

I agree, that's the beauty of it. You get hot at the right time, UConn a few years ago, and things can get interesting.

ISU has an RPI in the 70s entering the day. It wouldn't be that bad. If Loyola wins then it's bad.

Not a lock. UNI won on a buzzer beater at ISU. At UNI it wasn't pretty, but tomorrow wouldn't be a walk in the park.

That's what makes it great. A bunch of seniors can turn it on and play their last few games with nothing to lose. The ball bounces the right way a few times and you find yourself in an NCAA tournament. The NCAA tournament would lose a little something if it weren't for the chaos revolved around getting into it.

That court brings back nightmares to me anyway. I'm getting pissed all over again about the wrong handed wrong way turn around line drive shot that idiot from Bradley hit on us.

Well in that case they were as "undeserving" of winning it as an ISU would be. I just don't think there is as much injustice in the tournament champs getting in some argue. All the top teams that are most likely to win it all will get in. None of them get screwed.
