Especially with this cold snap...

St. Paddy's day parade is next weekend, need to get some prices...

Well you see, we thought it was going to be a good year. However, it's been too cold. Then the other day it was too hot. Then we didn't have enough rain but now we have too much rain. However, numbers are way up this year but now we don't have the man power to get them out of the ponds and on the table.

So $7/lb live sounds about right.

Cue the:

Get them yourself.
You must not know much about crawfish farming.
Cold/warm/etc really really affects them.

I don't know what else, got blasted last time I started a thread like this.

I paid 4.10/lb last weekend and they were small with a few mediums , was disappointed in price and size but had my outfitter/guide from Alaska in town and wanted to show him how we do it/ don't see it getting any better for a few weeks

I bought 6lbs of small arse bugs at an HEB (grocery store) in the middle of Houston last Saturday @ $3.50/lb. A whole sack was going for $2.99/lb.

My farmer is getting $3 a pound at the buyer. So around here about 3.50
