Hypothetical: What would be the stats of a premier SEC RB playing at Oregon?

What if LF7 or Chubb (or any other past big-name SEC back) chose to go play in Oregon’s spread Offense?

No telling.
Depends on the player, your big barreling RB who isn't as fast probably had more success in the SEC than at Oregon.

Dexter mccluster would have won a Heisman

Oregon would have probably made the right decision and put Trindon at DE

You don't need to go to Oregon to put up big numbers as a RB, you just need to play against them.

600-800 yards rushing
300-500 yards recieving depending on catching and route-running skills

Probably about the same as their current RBs. They're running a different style of offense, which isn't as suited to, say, LF7's strengths as a pro style offense.

How did LaGarette Blount do at Oregon (when he wasn't suspended)? I'd say he's a good comparison.

Yeah maybe fournette would be as good as Chubb if he were on Oregon

LF is much, much faster than Blount.
LF would absolutely wreck shop at Oregon with his straight line speed, power, and receiving ability.

i doubt it, they've had plenty of similar guys. I understand why people think if he did this vs SEC Defenses that they think he'd do exponentially better vs Pac 12 D's but it doesn't work that way.

Oregon doesn't do things significantly different than other teams
They run inside zone and outside zone with plenty of variation, but it is still just zone schemes.
Different than LSU's man blocking with a FB, but it isn't like Oregon has to scour the country looking for backs that fit their system
Damn near every team at every level of football runs at least SOME aspect of the zone scheme. They just approach it differently than other teams but the reads for the backs are principly the same

I dunno. How would B1G RBs fare in the SEC?
Posted on 3/7/15 at 6:45 am to OKTiger83
LF7 would be just like he was a ST. Aug, running the ball throwing and reviving.

Would it have made a difference against Ohio State? Then who care.

Chubb + LF7 would wreck the pac-12 at Oregon
