Full Motion Video games, usually adventure games, that were popular in the 90's? I've started replaying Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within, Police Quest: SWAT, Police Quest: Open Season, and the X-Files game.

Talk about nostalgia. Anybody else enjoy sitting down and chilling playing a FMV game? What were some of your favorites?

The only FMV game I really have any nostalgia for is Sega's Time Traveler. That game blew my mind back when I was 11. I assumed all games would look like that by now.

I like playing them when I just want to chill, play something casual, and enjoy what's essentially an interactive movie.

The original Magic the Gathering had a pretty baller FMV tutorial that went with the game LINK

My friend had the full game. It was something like 4 or 5 discs. He let me borrow it and I ended up playing it for 2 or 3 months over and over

It's just a shame that things like Dueling Firemen were never actually produced.

Seriously, though, FMV integration in things like Wing Commander 3 & 4 could've been great, but wound up being too expensive.

Oh agreed. It was a terrible game but the hologram stuff was cool at the time...except when kids would try to reach out and grab the characters while you were playing it. That happened a number of times to me.

I recommend Harvester. Crazy arse game that is about de-sensitivity.

This was also an amazing, scary FMV game for the PS1.
