this is a spinoff from a previous gym thread, but i was wondering if anyone else was familiar with or has tried one of pavels different programs? i did his power to the people program about 7 years ago and was the strongest I've ever been. I'm thinking about getting back on it or something similar. At 33 and married, I'm only looking to challenge myself and see how strong i can get, not be buff/cut, etc.(i don't hate on anyone going for that either).

I've done the PTTP workout as well. Agree it makes you stronger. I like it because you don't have to be in the gym 1.5 hours to get a full body workout.

I haven't done his strength training program but have added his stretching and flexibility program to my dojo routine and have seen a lot of progress.
I've got two of his stretching and flexibility DVDs and they're good. They've got ads for his strength and kettle bell programs but for strength I've been using free weights at the gym.
I'd be interested in hearing about his strength program and maybe shift away from the free weights and do everything in the home dojo. Right now I've got the size and strength but need to get cut.
