Diamond grill sucks and OBVIOUSLY there are some pretty women that are from there. Obvi.
BJs pizza. All other pizza places are dead to me.
Adjust your expectations. It's a quiet place with holy rollers. Very Pentecostal and southern baptist. Try growing up catholic in Pineville. People always trying to "save" ya.
If you like outdoors, church revivals and zero traffic.. You'll love it. Specifically-Pineville. I appreciate it for what it is, but I could never move back. No opportunity.
Also, are you a college intern, by any chance?

I grew up there. I honestly get the hate.. Alexandria can be a tough place to grow up if you don't fit in. Which I guess can be said for any town. But it isn't a place that cultivates out of the box, innovative, creative thinking. And those who did/were like that would go to PHS to partake in the performing arts program--which then catapulted most said kids to a college or arts school far and away. Which was the best thing.
But overall-good place to grow up, not as much trouble to find as other places. Safe. Good, decent folks. Little to no nightlife. Family oriented!

I grew up in Pineville and moved to Kincaid Lake when I was 15. It was a baller place to grow up. I never moved back after college, but I have tons of friends who enjoy Alexandria just fine. Their houses and properties are gorgeous. Hell, the places I grew up in were as well.
