Watch they beat Arkansas smh.
We will need to get Mickey healthy first. I did not like the way he looked after that foul on the layup. He was physically exhausted.

Fyi, Tennessee is not a "bad" loss. They have a top 100 RPI. A bad loss is a sub 150 rpi. It is not a good loss, but isn't some tourney killer

I can't believe they lost his game. All season once everyone gets excited about this team they turn in a performance like this and get everyone doubting them again.

We have been playing with the same four players doing huge minutes for most of the season. Any athlete will eventually have a reduced or impaired performance with too many miles on their legs. These guys all have huge hearts and put in as much as they have to give (sometimes even more). Likewise CJJ and the staff are all passionate about this team and the players. LSU don't need it's supporters to jump ship, they need more than fair weather friends and fickle followers.

Wow! Mickey tired? 82 game NBA schedule with multiple back to back games on schedule. Perhaps he should try bowling. A 19 year old kid tired playing 2 games per week? Give me a break....

It's a shame how Darcy Malone gets bitched around regularly. The odds of him grabbing a rebound are extremely low. It's sad when a footer gets manhandled like that.

I know how you feel. You and I exchanged our respective opinions here last weekend. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we beat Arky on the road.

Either way, this was my point on the SEC. Regardless of the number of teams we get in, we just aren't a good conference. Our third best team, A&M, has zero top 50 RPI wins. IMO, If UK played in a top 3 conference they would carry a crooked number of losses. Again, just my opinion and I wouldn't be surprised if they ran the table from here. The talent in the conference is getting better, but we are a long way away from elite.

I'm going to refrain from picking apart our effort tonight, but our coaches need to look in the mirror long and hard. I would be ashamed to take a paycheck after I let a team walk on the court with that mental approach with so much on the line. While I understand the logic behind the Darcy project, it was a failure early. We should have cut that line a month ago and tried different solutions. We might as well play 4 against 5. I can only assume the coaches are seeing something in practice to dictate otherwise, but that brings me to one of the biggest gaps between the SEC and other conferences.....practice squads. I'm not going to bash the players or coaches. Let's just pray we upset Arky on the road.

Not being a pessimist, but even if we find our way to the tournament this team is going no where. You can draw your own conclusions, but for whatever reasons their mental ability cannot handle it. When we NEED to score, we go through severe droughts, throwing up absolute prayers(if we haven't thrown the ball away by then).

I will say this, thank you Hornsby. You have been the consummate college player. Your effort is why we come to the games. A few more of you and we are dancing.
