I had a horrible feeling this was exactly what was going to happen. They played terrible, unfocused basketball, and I'm now 100% sure Mickey is hurt. They looked tired and like they didn't give a frick. Not sure anything wouldve worked tonight. Sloppy. This was also another great case of the "If you think Mickey and Martin are NBA ready, you're smoking crack" crowd. Neither of them know how to defend in the post. They both play for the block every damn time. This leads to the multitude of offensive rebounds we give up. They're always out of position. Just sad.
Now watch us go beat Arky and lose to Vandy in the second round of the SECT. That's just how this team works.

if tonights loss causes us to miss the tourny then i don't see attendance picking up again until we really start to play well next year

This loss will not cause us to miss the fricking tournament. We're not even in the last 4 in. We played horribley tonight, JJ coached poorly tonight, and Tennessee was locked in. It was the exact opposite of what happened in Knoxville.

UT is another bad loss, we now slide into the last 4 byes/ possibly last 4 in. We lose to arky and we are probably in the last 4 in. We go in the sec tourny needing no upsets to happen.
Losing tonight doesn't put us out the tourny but it doesn't help the cause. All we had to do was show up and win tonight and we are locked in the tourny.
