Jalen Collins is projected as a mid 1st round pick. Coming out of high school, he was rated a 3 star and only got offers from 3 schools. LSU, Ole Miss and Memphis. So much for the star ratings.

Dude, you have 98,000 posts in 7 years. That equates to 38 posts a day. Get a job, get a girlfriend, get a life.

I stated a fact. There's no argument to be made. Brageous needs to back up his argument. Which really isn't an argument, just a pissy comment from a brain pus.

star ratings have nothing to do with the NFL

I'm not stupid enough to cherry pick one player's ratings coming out of high school and compare it to NFL success. There will always be misses on star ratings, but in general, they do give a decent, broad idea of who's good and who's not. Either way, the fact you are comparing star ratings directly to NFL success is ignorant enough to where my previous argument isn't necessary. So frick off, dumbass.

Wrong. You stated a moronic conclusion based on faulty logic. Worse, you started a thread based upon a premise that has been posted a hundred times by other similarly misguided posters and has been summarily debunked a hundred times. Instead of asking others to waste their time, learn to use the search function.

I will now state a fact for you: 759 posts is too high a number for someone of your level. Get a girlfriend and/or job and stop posting.

No original poster is right. 18 year old kids aren't allowed to grow, mature, learn technique, work out, practice, receive coaching and improve as a player when they get to college. Star rankings are bull shite.

i will admit, i was really drunk and pissed at the time...and no, obviously not anymore.

But how about you address the original idiotic topic you started since it's clearly retarded. I'll wait.

He had more offers on signing day. I know Bama would've taken him if he wanted in. They made a big push in the last month but he wasn't hearing it. He was loyal to Cooper. As for the rankings, they all messed up with him. He performed well in front of many scouts. They just missed. Overall though it isn't a great indictment of them. Kid was raw as hell in hs. Took him 3 years to learn to turn and find the ball. They combined his huge upside athletically with his huge downside in rawness and stopped at 3*. It happens. Some get the benefit of the doubt some don't. Its like gambling

Thanks for the rational explanation instead of the personal assaults posted by the usual suspects.
