LINK

1) Springsteen - BTR (Not First)
2) Pink Floyd - DSM (Excellent pick)
3) Led Zepplin - Houses of the Holy (Excellent Pick, could be first)
4) The Clash - Combat Rock (Meh, good Album)
5) Beatles - Abbey Road (Excellent Pick, could be First)
6) Pearl Jam - Alive (Nah, not quite)
7) Grateful Dead - Working Man's Dead (Never Heard it)
8) Deep Purple - Machine Head (Excellent Pick)

* My addition: Black Sabbath - First Album, remove the Dead.

This guys opinion is pretty solid but I disagree with some.

I'm not a Dead fan and don't really consider them the best of anything other than touring and tripping.

No OK Computer/The Bends? No Stones? No Metallica? List not legit.

Put Lateralus, 10,000 Days, and Aenima in a hat and draw one, and put that in the list.

Silverchair: Frogstomp
FF: The Colour and the Shape

Anything earlier than that can be argued for eternity. Why just 8 albums? There are way too many great albums to be so limited.

Aenima is their best album.

The lack of Exile and the inclusion of a GD studio album makes the list not legit.

So many issues...

3) Led Zepplin - Houses of the Holy (Excellent Pick, could be first)

So, their 5th or 6th best album is the 3rd best of all time?

I'd only put it behind III, IV, and Physical Graffiti
