Every few years it's time for a changing of the guard in our cow pasture. I started a thread here a few years ago about this bull because I knew then if he ever came up for sale I would buy him.

Y'all may think I like to laugh and joke around a lot, but when it comes to something I want or I'm passionate about... I don't frick around.

This is one of the biggest (top 10) longhorn bulls in the world at 1900+ pounds and 73.5 inches tip to tip. Stuff like this doesn't come up for sale very often...

Allow me to introduce my new herd sire, TCC Candy Gumdrops. (Yes, that's his real name)

He's a 2009 model... he turns 6 in May. Plenty of life in front of him.

I can't say... but it involved me giving up my old bull plus some extra cash.

I don't care though. I got what I wanted, you know what I mean?

The history of the Texas Longhorn is fascinating to me.

We only have 55 acres, so a "beef" operation would not be profitable... might as well get something you like to look at it.
