To each their own. Power requirements are lower and longevity is also an advantage.

They are crazy expensive.

The Patagonia Special was pretty crazy.

I love those trucks. Top Gear USA actually beat the bits to the punch. The American Stig drove one 4 years ago on the show. It was a dry lap....

Yeah, they gave pretty good reviews on it. Hammond drove it.

Compared it to the new Porsche Cayman due to price. Personally I like the Cayman, but I am just not a fan of Vettes. I think the Vette outperformed it in almost all categories.

I wish Clarkson did. He has always been harsh on the vette (even though I think he named it his pick for car of the year this year).

Ford actually named a vehicle the Hennessey VelociRaptor? Couldnt they come up with anything just a tad more idiotic? This country is fricked. Too many retards.

Clarkson agreed with Hammond, which was also shocking.

Ford made the Raptor, Hennessey modified it into the Velociraptor. Sort of like what Brabus does with Mercedes-Benz.

Not sure if this is sold on Ford lots as an option.

Just trying to show off your ignorance over who actually made this vehicle, or legit stupid?

I didn't see the end, but wasn't the question posed in which would they rather have? Thought they still opted for the Porsche, but not overwhelmingly.

I want to say Clarkson actually picked the Vette, but I may be mistaken. Will have to check the DVR when I get home Youtube doesn't seem to be of help.

I didnt watch the video. I know Ford has a truck named the "Raptor" which is obviously short for Velociraptor and obviously Hennessey is involved somehow (im assuming their name is plastered on the side like Nascar. I dont care what the means to the end are, if the total name is "Ford Hennessey Velociraptor" then all parties are equally responsible for coming up with something so stupid.

Going out on a limb, but Im assuming Ford manufcatured this truck. No?

You hit the nail on the head there champ. Hennessey upgrades a ford raptor and names it the VelociRaptor.

Ford manufactures the Raptor

What Hennessey does with it after ford is technically not up to ford, no?

It's still a raptor

Not necessarily.

Guess you couldn't be bothered to even look at the picture in the link or in the first reply to this thread.

So your ignorance is somehow justified because you don't like the name?
