Why do you feel the need to elaborate. That is all understood from the get go.
You asked the question. Ford doesn't make the Velociraptor. So even now while you're claiming you get it and knew from the get go, you're wrong.

GTFO. The 911 is a timeless classic.
Never said it wasn't, but from a design standpoint, it's pretty boring.

It's elegant in a way a Corvette never will be.
Most muscle cars aren't designed to be elegant.

It's a fricking ford truck
Who do you think their target market is?
Maybe you should get a Toyota Avalon if you want a pretty name or something

Good God. Are they really that snobby about American cars?
I think it is more about the history of a car. For instance, the Raptor conjures certain images of drivers as does an Austin Mini. Corvette recently as tried to be a budget supercar without addressing some issues. This car is a good attempt to do that.
Compare it to the Dodge Viper. Dodge just makes it a huge engine in a small car. Unapologetic about brute force and redneck engineering.

But they make the Raptor, which I already knew, and I still think soudns pretty stupid. It's pretty obvious that Hennessey renamed it to give it that extra "cool factor". Ford making the vehicle and then Hennessey doing aftermarket work to it then renaming it is obviously how they came to the overall name, which I think sounds stupid. This isnt that hard. Nothing to see here.

I disagree completely, but that's very subjective. I think your opinion the minority though.

Corvette has never been a muscle car.

Whatever floats your boat buddy.

It's usually the same basic design for a decade that gets slightly tweaked once a year. I'm not criticizing the overall design but the lack of imagination. Of course, 911 enthusiasts hate change so I guess that's why the design team can't step out on a limb. Seems like the biggest complaints about new 911's is that they're not the old 911.

You say lack of imagination, I say pretty much best car design ever. It's an almost universally loved car and has been that way since it came out. There is no reason to rethink it. You know exactly what it is the second you see it no matter what year 911 you're looking at.

I think lately it has suffered from not wanting to be a muscle car while living up to being one.
Maybe it has to do with keeping prices low and not really doing a suspension upgrade.

I get it.
I would love to own one and I like the way they look (not bashing it at all), but it's dull from a year to year standpoint.

Please classify it.
I can see the the Z06 and ZR1 not being muscle cars.

This was my train of thought.

It's a sports car, not a muscle car. There has always been that distinction. When someone says muscle car, they are talking about 2+2, big engine, fast in a straight line cars like the Camaro, Mustang, Charger (talking old school here), etc. The Corvette was never designed to be that, and has never been refereed to as such.

I can understand it. I don't even like being in the passenger seat of a Vette, much less behind the wheel.
