Yeah, and I think they'll handle him like they handled Eades as a freshman.

Pitching beyond Poche and Lange needs to improve. Too many errors. Batting order could be improved if Foster or Frailey was at 1st base, with Hale at 2nd, and either Foster or Frailey in left field.

I assume you are referring to Norman?

It's amazing that misspelling our best player's name is the least laughable part of your post.

Our defense will get fixed and our bats should be consistent all year. All comes down to pitching.

Yup! ^

The pitchers account for at least half the errors it seems like? The outfield is tremendous and will be among the best at defense in the nation. Hale has had some errors it seems, but Krob and Bregman will secure the middle infield about as well as anybody.

The batting depth is tremendous. Will come down to pitching.

Maybe Foster should throw a couple innings of relief too

I like where this team is at. I think the errors are something that will tighten up, and the pitching has been better than I had hoped, especially with Godfrey coming along.

I think by the end of May this team will be scary good.

I'm not sure why this poster is getting hammered so hard. Fraley or Foster at first isn't a ridiculous suggestion. You'd be no worse at first - it's similar to playing Chinea there. You'd be worse at second with Hale instead of Krob, but the batting would be improved. I doubt it's an improvement over Chinea, but it's not ridiculous.

Boy the west is brutal this year. With TAMU and Arky hitting the ball like they are, along with the fact that LSU and Moo State look as strong as billed, it's going to be a dogfight in league play.

Foster or Fraley at 1st is a horrible suggestion. And MS State does not look that strong, I guess people are just looking at their record without having seen them play.

ETA: Hale needs to stay at 1st base, if anything PM should maybe try Byrd at second sacker.

Arguing that it's similar to Chinea at first just proves how bad of an idea it would be.

He's suggesting putting either a senior who hasn't played first base since middle school or a sophomore who is close to matching Laird in speed and hasn't taken infield ground balls since who knows when. Not to mention its 2 weeks before SEC.
