Just once I would like a Louisiana recruit to publicly say

"I'm not interested in Nick Saban or the University of Alabama. I'm going to attend my own state university LSU". Just once turn that a-hole Saban down and let the nation know you will not be fooled by the media perception of the midget.

I wouldn't worry about him so much.
It's really up to the home team to appear more attractive to the recruit, than to BEG a recruit to do your public anti-Bama bidding for you.
I don't think you want any State of Florida recruits dissing LSU publicly, at this time.......do you? Use your head.

We will replace any in state kids that leave with equal or better talent. Best of luck to them if they leave (unless they stay in conference )

They say this all the time with their actions? A kid shouldnt identify a school or coach verbally that he doesnt want to attend or play for. Why give them that publicity? And also make yourself look like a jackleg?
Just commit to LSU, like almost all of them do. Speaks volumes, I say.
Some of you act like LSU cant recruit? Other than Crob and Collins who did they get that is a difference maker?
If Sunseri hadnt gotten hurt Collins wouldve started one whole yr there.
I dont blame Crob, he made a decision early and started at LT as a true freshman at Bama. That wasnt happening at LSU.
Last time I checked LSU gets as many in state targets as anyone.

How many recruits from out of state have you heard say, "I'm not interested in Les Miles or LSU"? It is just not in their best interests make such public statements even if they are firmly committed to another school. Why would you want recruits to appear ungrateful, or even disrespectful, for attention from elite programs?
More to the point, there are plenty of in state kids who make their intentions known without such explicit public statements. Just this past recruiting class David Ducre, Jazz Ferguson, Adrian Magee and Isaiah Washington committed early and declined attention from other schools.

Huh? So say La had the number one linebacker and DT and both grew up Tiger fans and said I would never play for bama no matter what, that wouldn't give you some pleasure? It sure would me! I know my family and they are die hard Tigers, and if any of our kids grew to be a big time recruit I can assure you this would be their response. They hate bama and wouldn't even sniff the chance to be any part of bama.
