I just bought a 2008 Sierra and the bed is scratched up pretty bad. Just looking for opinions on what the best spray in liner would be and what kind of cost I'm looking at to have it done.

I have a 2003 F-250 and had a Rhino liner put in when the truck was new. The bed is pretty beat up and bent, but the liner just bends with every new dent. That's all I got.

I've had line-x on every truck I've owned. Never had a single problem with any of them

It really comes down to the particular shop you use.

Line-X will be the most consistent as they've been using the same process for years. Rhino liner caught up but not all their shops use the same technique (this may have changed).

Line-X has a thinner more consistent coat. Rhino has caught up and you can get a lifetime warranty from either company now.

Line-X is drip-free, durable and what I would recommend.

They are all the same. Get whatever is the cheapest.

Drove my 2008 Z71 off the lot and straight to LineX.
Have not had one issue with it's durability.
It will get a little black on things you put in there at times. My kids run around in the back of the truck and come out with black feet.
I'd get it again

Of course it will the liner is basically a tougher version of flex seal in a can, it's not designed to protect from dents, it's designed to protect from scratches and future rusting.

The liners maybe be interchangeable but the person doing the application makes a huge difference.

The heavy duty drop in plastc liners protect against dents.

Yes they do, but I'm not personally a fan of them, and dents don't bother me as much as rust. I've had a drop-in on one truck when I bought it sand, dirt, mud, blood (or worse battery acid) will get under them and it's impossible to get it all out. The tiedowns are usually harder to access from the cutouts too. You can get a rubber mat to put on top of the liner to prevent your stuff from sliding around though but usually requires some trimming.

Linex and monstaliner are in a league of their own.

Only uv linex comes close to monstaliner's ability to not fade.

In Baton Rouge, John at Line-x does the best work.

From everything that I've read line x seems to consistently put out a quality product. Does anyone have a ballpark figure on what this would cost?

It really all depends on the place, but anywhere from $350-550 last I heard of it

I have Rhino on my F250. It was on there when I bought the truck. 10 years now and the only issue is one section at the bottom of the tail gate has flaked off for somereason. Again - it was like that when I bought the truck so I dont know what happened to that area to cause the bed liner to come off. It hasnt gotten any bigger in the 8 years I have had the truck.
