This

Tennessee can turn people over and plays zone the whole game. Could be a trap game. Arkansas is almost unbeatable at bud walton arena.

I think we finish 1-1 to close and go 1-1 in the tournament. We'd be fortunate to get in at 23-10.

I would like 2 more wins to feel good about the dance. If LSU loses the next three, they are in the NIT in my opinion.

I think beat Tenn and 1 win In the tourney and we are in. Quality wins, good record against atop 50, and exciting players all favor us. Win the last two and it's not in doubt.

I really don't see where this blind confidence comes from.

How has this team displayed to you that they are going to win games that they should win? We are sitting in a good spot, but way too premature to throw that statement out there. The SEC is an absolute dumpster fire this year, don't think the committee won't take that into strong consideration.

Definitely in the tournament if that happens IMO.

What year is this? Are you stuck in 2008 when it really was bad?

These types of threads separate those of us who have been watching this team since November from those who started watching 2 weeks ago.

What the frick is wrong with you?

The SEC will get 5 teams in AND possibly a 6th.

The SEC has 5 teams in the top 50 RPI - and will be 6 when LSU moves up from 52 after the wins this week.

That finish will lock LSU into the NCAAT.

Since the lineup change after the loss vs. AU, LSU is 5-2 with the only losses by 2 points vs UK(#1 RPI) and 6 points @TAMU (#33 RPI).

LSU is now 5-4 vs Top 50 RPI.

Lunardi has gotten like 66 or 67 of the 68 teams correct the past couple years. Before this win he had LSU as a comfortable 10 seed. If we lose 3 in a row we'll be on the bubble. 23-10 absolutely without a doubt gets us in. It's not even a question. Anyone saying other wise is either clueless or being deliberately pessimistic

It's the fans that only watched today's game and remember the MSU, AU losses.

They fail to see what has happened the last 7 games. I admit I was completely pissed at the TAMU loss, but besides that game, LSU has been handling business like we hoped they would.

Today's win was huge and sets LSU up for a NCAAT bid with one more win (either Tenn or @Ark). SECT could be just for seeding - and if LSU gets the 4th seed over Ole Miss and double-bye, LSU can go 0-1 in SECT and it won't matter one bit.
