Seafood is so god damn expensive
this, especially scallops and 16-20's and 26-30 shrimp
16-20's are inching even closer to the price of prawns. I remember when i could get(at cost) 16-20 PnD, tail off for 5.20 a lb.
And u-10 scallops for 8ish a lb. shite will be close to $20 a lb in next year or so.
Lobster tails are about the only thing that has gone down the past years. i can get Australian, cold water tails for $22ish+ per pound. Those used to be $29ish per.

Hopefully you'll be able to save up a few dollars and move to a decent city. It'll probably have better crawfish prices too.

Crawfish has become too mainstream
I'll either catch and cook my own when it warms up, fry fish, or grill something.
I ain't paying anything close to $6 a pound

WTF?
They have used gas as an excuse for several years and gas is being given away these days and I heard the crop was good this year.
Was hoping we'd get under $4 but shite is up $2 from last year.
I'll never eat a crawfish again as long as I live before I pay $7/pound.
It was fricking snowing 2 days ago. What do you expect?
Give it some more time.

A friend owns a place so I get them for cheap. I have never asked them for a discount, but they always hook me up. I am very lucky to have some good friends.
