Nick Saban is one of the greatest college football coaches of all time. Any HS football player should get excited with the chance to meet him, diehard LSU fan or not.

Jesus people. Have some sense.

I guess I'm just different. Even in high school, I wouldn't care to meet Meyer who was on the top of the CFB world at that time.

Also "should" get excited is not the right way to put it. I remember the one guy who flushed Bama recruiting papers down the toilet. I've seen others show no interest towards his meet and greets as well.

Our fan base needs to stop its dismissive attitude toward recruits who entertain oos possibilities.
Here, a number of posters are telling White to get lost, because he merely reports, apparently accurately, that ALA. has been recruiting him the hardest.
What Les needs to do is get off his arse and go to Springhill, La. Before we lose another one.
If Saban has time to come to N. La., Miles certainly does.
Stop shooting the messenger.
Especially when he is high four star performer at a position of crucial need.

What he means is that Alabama has offered the most money. But the recruits can't come out and say that.

I don't know, is Miles taking another top recruit from Texas or elsewhere that the home school would like to have? Jesus, its a small world now, Bama success is still pretty damn fresh. You want their traction to go away, stomp a mudhole in their arse.

If you haven't noticed, it is not just Les that has had a tough time with Bama. Seems they are outrecruiting everyone. Auburn is going to tie em up a bit, they have to go somewhere, LA and FL are where they will head.

I am just tired of everyone worried about what Nick Saban is doing. He is recruiting the best players he can, the same as us.

These kids take stuff like this personal at that age. If you aren't showing them any love they will go with whoever is. And of course Saban is too strong to resist. It's best LSU get on their J O B!

Maybe now that Lawrence is #1 in the state, we'll see O in the area.

Being that Ed would be Lawrence's position coach, it's safe to say he's already recruiting the area IMO.

I did. Being that Orgeron is already recruiting Lawrence in north LA, I'm sure he does scout and recruit the region a bit further. I was really responding to your comment that North LA recruiting is down. I'd imagine Ed's influence in that region will grow depending on the quality of prospects there.

We're anxiously awaiting. I'm not sure if WM is playing Neville again this year in the Spring Game. If LSU skips it again, it will be hard to keep the faith of actual change. I saw where Dennis Collins, best DL for WM this year as a sophomore, was at Bama Jr. Day yesterday. Smiling with a Bama hoodie on the field.

And Devall, Davis, and Bell. 5, but only 1 really hurt so far.

Yeah, it would be tough to imagine.

I wouldn't say LSU needed any of them. It's kind of like Charlot, a great player, but not at a position LSU is hurting at. All good players though.

Happened last year and there were roughly 7-8 college coaches there, including of course Napier.
