what up with that?

says he wants to play LB in college, which is obviously our #1 priority in this class. I'm sure we are pursuing him hard and I don't necessarily think we have done anything wrong. Just not a good sign if a player thinks Bama is recruiting him the hardest, we should probably step our game up.

We do want him huh? or is he not as interested in LSU and we just arent pursuing him as hard because he's not that interested in coming here?

Just because he says that doesn't make it true

It's an easy way to justify leaving the state by saying the other team wanted me more and showed more love

It's a reasonable answer for a state kid to give when considering going out of state. Basically an excuse to not go with the popular choice. "I originally wanted to be at LSU but they didn't recruit me all that hard and Bama broke their longest meet wit a recruit record talking to me". Spin

I think they get coached to say shite like that. It's a way to sow more discord with the fan base.

do most think that is what he is planning on doing?

I thought I read something a few months back hinting at this as well

It sounds just like before with other recruits who consider leaving state

He was all but committed to LSU last season now we probably aren't in his top 2

Strange things happening IMO

Bama's recruiting dollars at work. They seem to have an unlimited budget for recruiting that they can leverage to make it appear to these kids that they are "on them the hardest".

And it isn't because we've stopped pursuing. And I agree with you.

Good Lord man. Multiple recruits, coaches, and posters say this for multiple years, but everyone is lying. Bama flat out works harder than LSU in North Louisiana. Started with Stud and has not been rectified yet. Meanwhile O is given the North Shore, one of the most desolate areas for talent in the state? How does that make sense? Is it so he won't take much time to recruit the area so he can be the National recruiter?

Maybe now that Lawrence is #1 in the state, we'll see O in the area. I know he's already visited with him and made a great impression.

"I ain't playing for a midget"

"No way I go and play for a backwoods fanbase like Alabama"

What do you expect from a college that spends over a million on recruiting?

So you think the staff is more interested because he rose in some rankings?

Get on board or get left out.

We have no time for this all too familiar game recruits have played the last few years.

We have a staff that can basically get better recruits now, so it's on...

So he was all LSU and "about to commit" last year, now Bama is recruiting him the hardest, he's thinking about playing with Shea at Ole Miss?

Just goes to show you can be a year early on a guy, have a great need at that position, be the only in state school, and still lose out on a guy.

Who are the other inside linebacking prospects? I looked up on 247 and we only have an offer out to one guy way out in Cali. I see Dontavious Jackson is a guy in Houston that we should be on.

Saban has been the only head coach to come to his high school and meet him.
