what's keeping someone from jacking those off your jeep?
I guess nothing. They are bolted on like most everything else but if you have tools I guess you can steal them.

If it turns out to be too much light I have THIS. I actually have the older version, it was $65 new, not sure why they went up. Wires into your factory reverse lights, don't have to cut your bumper, pretty discrete and extremely bright. I also couldn't see shite after doing my windows, this solved it.

Looks good. I am gonna hook these up without cutting the bumper to see how bright they actually are. The bumper has a minute angle towards the ground, and I'm not trying to get hot spots that will reflect on my backup cam (just ordered that too). I also want them as far back as possible so nothing will block any of the light from going to the side. The flood/work beam pics that I've seen online seem to spread the pattern out well, but I won't know until I get them. Website says they only go 60ft back, so that's a frick ton of light to spread in that short of a distance.
You have some night pics of yours?
I have 20% on my fronts and 5% on the backs. During the day, the 20% is perfect, but at night, it is too much. I debated switching to 30%, but I'll make the decision when the lights come in

I have some somewhere in my photobucket, I'll dig them up in the morning.

Here's a few pics when I first installed it, I was curious how long I've had it and it's been over two years. No issues, works great still.
Shitty pic and the shop was a mess but this was in a 40x60 building and it would throw light to the back wall.

The OB isn't all bad. Some perfectly acceptable non-douchey uses of LEDs seen here.
Saw a full high mount light bar across the top of a POS Honda accord the other day. Thought about this thread.

I put a 20" in the gap of my bumper. It's does a great job at lighting up dark roads.

That gap wasn't there for a reason?

The LED bar isn't blocking it any more than the front license plate that used to be there.
If you were implying that it will affect cooling...

If that's an Ecoboost you shouldn't be blocking that air gap. I think it helps with the intercooler

Got it. Pretty cool addition. Is it made to fit in there or did you just rig it up yourself that way

Honestly I wanted to just put 2 of the square ones, but I got a really good deal on the bar. It wasn't made for it but the F150s have perfect plates to mount to. All I did was drill 2 holes and slip bolts through. No cutting or anything.
Part of me wants to tint it a little so it doesn't stick out so much, but that would kind of defeat it's purpose

I've been fairly impressed with it so far. About a year ago I hit it with something and knocked the front lens off. It's been in my toolbox for me to put it back on and I keep forgetting about it. I though for sure it would have shorted out and took a dump by now but it's still kicking.

Did you ever try them out?
Saw this one last night.

Solid picture. I have been noticing them on hoods around here too.
I have also noticed that it is not a new F250 thing anymore, and the piece of shite trucks are all getting lightbar now.
