The NFL has an opportunity to appeal.

And knowing Goodell, they will.

Damn Goodell, always trying to stop guys from playing just for beating a two year old until his testicles bleed.

Usually I have issue with the NFLPA for court shopping. But I do not this time, since the Vikings were the one's that suspended him.

I think the Vikings will appeal and should. I also think that David Dowdy is very anti big business.

He'll be a highly sought after free agent by any team who feels he's the missing piece of a Super Bowl team. New England, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Dallas would all go from great offenses into frightening ones with Peterson toting the mail. It'll be interesting to see what kind of contract he can get.

Cowboys should have cap space when they cut Dez and let demarco become a FA.

They should definitely let Murray walk, but the only reason for them to cut a WR as good as Bryant would be if this video thing is legit. Freakish WRs like that don't come around too often and they make an offense so much better.

Yes, I was going Mike Florio and jumping to speculative conclusions.

He definitely put himself in a corner with that radio appearance.

NE was the top scoring offense this year, and dropped 14 points in the 4th quarter of the SB against one of the great defenses off our time. I'd say that qualifies as devastating.

Sounds like Greg Hardy is about to be reinstated as well

This decision is a pretty big deal. The judge basically said Goodell can't just big dick his way around the league and arbitrarily suspending guys for things that aren't in the labor agreement.

The league will certainly appeal just to avoid the slippery slope it can bring.

I think I heard that if he stays with the Vikings they will have to pay him $18 million.

For a 30 year old RB.

Not sure if FA would effect that number.

His cap number is 15 mil but the Vikings have plenty of cap room and not a lot of franchise players like Peterson. His worth off the field is well worth that number for the Vikings

Adrian Peterson has yet to be technically reinstated. Arbiter David Doty shot down the league's retroactive application of its new conduct policy in Peterson's case, but the matter now goes back to the "CBA process." It's unclear if the league plans to appeal. It might be in the league's best interest to simply take its ball and go home, but that's rarely been commissioner Roger Goodell's M.O. In a statement, the league said it will "review the decision."

Why???? I would keep him and Bryant over getting AP... AP is old and very injury prone.... Not worth it IMO for the Cowboys... Now the Colts or Detroit or even Atlanta would become a legit SB contender with AP.

1/3rd of the teams in the league become contenders with AP.
