What concerns me most about Jennings despite all this praise he supposedly gets for "putting in the work" it does not translate to the games. Jennings look no different from when we played Iowa to when we played ND and that is a problem. The best QB play I saw last season for us was from Harris during the spring game and the fourth quarter against MsSt. You can throw in the playing time against the scrub teams we played too, but games like...

Bama (76 passing yards)
Ark (87 passing yards)

How do you not try to get you back up qb in the game?!

It's like people forgot what Matt Flynn did his senior year.

Senior QB that was not even a QB for half his time at bama

This year is put up or get gone for Cameron

If freaking lane kiffin can waltz in and get his offense to air it out....

Nobody is talking about saban. Kiffin walked in and produced with a QB with no major game experience. Cameron has has two full years with jennings. We will know by end of game 2 if he is ready. If not, Cam can scram

If it doesn't work this year what does Miles do to his friend, sink the ship with him or move him into the dreaded admin role.

If it doesn't work with Cam, it isn't going to work with anyone

Here's a homework assignment for you.

Compile two lists of successful QBs, those who are more than 2 years removed from high school, and those who are less than 2 years removed from high school.

I'll eagerly await your results.
Good college programs don't need to start true freshmen or sophomores at QB unless that QB is very special. What is LSU's excuse?

Not to mention our backups rarely play, even against the cupcakes.

If you can't understand the difference between a player who's been in the program for 5 years and a very green sophomore and a true freshman, we can't help you.

Fr was all practice at RB

RSFR was RB

So. was wildcat QB where he threw 10 gadget passes and ran ball 30 times

Backup in scrub time as Jr

Starter as Sr.

Yep. I am so wrong

Can you 'splain it to Cam. Because he apparently didn't know Mett was leaving after '13.

Well that isn't close to being true. It happens to most programs.

I can't believe I sometimes forget what the Rant is like and venture back over here. Its like 16 year olds on the short bus playing tummy sticks.

I'm sure I'll see you people again in 3 months when I forget again.
