I posted on the ticket exchange board yesterday to no avail.

Does anyone have 2 tickets they are selling for the Heat game on 2/27? I was looking for something reasonably priced in the lower level, but I'm open to pretty much any seats in the house. Let me know!

They typically have a phone number that you can call for tickets on a giant electronic billboard on the side of what is know as the Smoothie King Center in downtown New Orleans. It's a big gray building. This is also where the games are played, at least half the time. I have a meeting down there later today so I'll see if I can jot the number down for you while driving on I-10.

No need to be a dick. He may have already checked. He's also asking to buy tickets. Save this kind of sarcasm and assholery for the people who start threads asking for free tickets.

That's fascinating, I had no idea! I tend to focus on the road while I'm driving, so I must have missed that whole area of the city. My fault.

You check StubHub yet? Tickets on there tend to get pretty cheap and I was also planning to go to the game on Friday before some family stuff popped up. I had my eyes on a pair of tickets in one of the lower corners that were $55 or something like that.

Yeah, I've been monitoring StubHub since Tuesday. Winning streak has kept prices pretty high. A little cheaper than Ticketmaster perhaps, but still a little more than I wanted to pay for lowers. I was thinking that possibly someone on here might be trying to get rid of a few tix and would sell for a more reasonable price.

Maybe you're right. However, as a season ticket holder it's aggravating when people can't just buy tickets from the pelicans and help support the team. They are pretty close to the cheapest in the league, if not the cheapest. I completely understand when it's a shitty game and tickets can be had on stubhub for pennies. But when the team is on a 3 game win streak and prices are looking high just help the team out and buy some frickin tickets and help keep them here long term

Just buy upper levels if you're trying to save money. It's not a terrible view and if you save $40-$60 a ticket by buying uppers, you won't feel bad about buying beer and food at the game. It's a big game on a Friday night during a win streak, the tix won't come cheap or easy

I support them by buying merchandise and concessions at the game, why is it a big deal if I get tickets through a 3rd party source? I'm not on here begging for free stuff, I'm legitimately asking if anyone can't make the game and is looking to recoup their money. Obviously I'm aware of the other options out there for buying tickets, I just wanted to explore all possible avenues before making a decision. You clearly have nothing constructive to add to this conversation, so please let it go man.

Team is making money without ticket sales. Do you buy everything at full price at the store? Or get it from a 3rd party source for less?

This logic makes little sense. People only have so much money to spend. If i have $100 and thats it, it means little to me that these are " some of the best prices in the league" I still only have $100. Ofcouse I am going to want to get the best possible value for my money. Right now for the Heat, a regular lower bowl club ticket is going for for $220.00/ticket plus fees from the Pelicans. Try bringing a family of four for that amount. The Pelicans would rather eat the full price of the ticket than sell it at a discount the day before the game. This is why stub hub is the better venue. It relies on supply and demand just like the real world.
