Absolutely awful news. I hope all the negative signs are completely wrong, and that he'll be OK.

Oh damn. He's been gone a long time. Doesn't look good. Sounds like suicide. Then I looked up the story and saw that picture, which didn't exactly sway my opinion the other way. A thousand apologies. Clearly, this isn't the place for amateur investigating.
It's not unnatural; it's essentially confirmation and/or hindsight (since the picture is in the past) bias with the assumption that he may have committed suicide (not unreasonable).

Hopefully, though, for his sake, you (and any other assumptions where he isn't found alive) were completely wrong.

@SI_PeterKing: I once lost my daughter in a NJ mall for 3 minutes. Worst 3 minutes of my life. I so feel for the @Ivan_Maisel family. #FindMax

The thing Peter tweeted was pretty stupid though. 3 minutes in a mall doesn't really relate.

Some of y'all have completely trained your brains to think politically correctly. It's actually sad.

Sometimes people don't say the perfect thing. No need to crucify them. Peter King was trying to relate. Instead, you are all criticizing him. We live in a country where it's not worth speaking unless you say the perfect thing.

I am talking about that all you guys can focus on is that Peter King shouldn't have said that. frick saying anything then. There's always going to be some sensitive Nancy who objects, and treats your words like a fricking hate crime.

Not really. He could have just said he's sorry for the situation. It isn't PC...it's just poor taste.

I mean I don't give a shite either way.

King just made it about himself like he is prone to do. It just wasn't necessary.

It isn't PC, it's class.

I wouldn't have never thought anything of that King tweet, not even a little.

Yeah. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

I understand that people get sensitive, but basically he said the equivalent of...

"1 million seems like such a big number. I can't imagine how big 999 quintillion is."

People are acting like he said, "I lost my daughter for 3 minutes in a mall, so I have been through this before."
