Grow a pair. This is a message board, not a political correctness convention.
Too many people these days just think unhappy children are normal. This kid has been gone since Sunday, and no foul play is suspected. It's extremely likely that he killed himself. And that's a fricking shame because maybe it could have been prevented.
The media ALWAYS looks for the best picture of someone. That's what they do. If they can't find a picture of a damn kid smiling, it's pretty likely that he's not a happy person. Truly happy people don't kill themselves. I've known people who have killed themselves, and it's fricking horrible. Depression is a horrible disease, and more people in this world need to wake up and notice when they have loved ones struggling with it.
Yeah. Maybe I am jumping to conclusions, but sometimes jumping to conclusions can save a life.
If any of your downvoters want to actually talk about it, shoot me an email at SwaggerCopterTD AT gmail.
Or just keep being passive aggressive pussies who downvote without discussion. Your call.
One thing you overlooked is that some downvoters may have agreed with your "unhappy picture = suicide risk" theory yet still downvoted because you ultimately referenced getting on your knees and thinking really hard as somehow being realistically beneficial.

My sincere respect and condolences to Mr. Maisel and his family. The longer I live, the more sure I am that the inevitability of the human condition spares no family . Love your people every day.
