My son experienced a complex meniscus tear his freshman baseball season in college. He was redshirted and the rehab was lengthy. But, the knee was not a problem going forward and he played four more years.

Edit to add: my son was trying to get footing on a wet field while sprinting towards a fly ball and the sod gave way. The tear required much more stitching than normal and just took more time to heal.

Wow. I wonder what the scope found.

Must have been a minimal tear that only required the cartilage to be shaved. 4-5 weeks if so.

That is correct!

I am looking forward to seeing him and his brother become two of the greatest Tigers of all time!
