Spoke with a linebacker on the team and he said CJ was one of the breakout guys in spring and summer camp last year but the weather caused him chest pains and shortness of breath. They monitored his heart closely all year, but all the tests came back fine.

Looking for him to be in the field often this year and possibly a breakout player on defense.

Shortness of breath due to the heat?

Yeah I always thought it was a BS excuse that he couldn't get acclimated to the climate but it was legit. Medical staff watched Him closely all year but apparently he's good to go.

He was a monster during the summer and fall camp. He was rolling with the big boys right off the bat and looked to be the 2nd best lb behind Kwon just going through position drills.

That the team is just as mystified with the QB play and offense as the fans. He also thought jennings would be the starter and backed up the notion that HARRIS was not ready this past season.

Said Travonte Valentine is a freak athlete and shouldn't move as well as he does at his current size. Jam Adams reminds him of TM7 based on attitude alone. Got all this info during the LSU vs Kentucky game.

Linebackers take time to develop into really good football players. CJ will be a stud just like Beckwith and Minter.

While is was only high school highlights, his high school film most definitely agrees. He laid people out. I'm rooting for this guy and I think he'll be a great one

We're all ready to see CJ breakout this year. Would be a tremendous boost to the D with him, Valentine and one DE coming around.

So...the tests came back fine, is he going to play through chest pain and shortness of breath? Sounds like something that could be solved by an inhaler (I have a similar problem)
