I had heard the same thing about the heat/humidity. But if it affected him last year....won't it affect him again this year?

Yeah I always thought it was a BS excuse that he couldn't get acclimated to the climate but it was legit. Medical staff watched Him closely all year but apparently he's good to go.

I would guess it's related to the amount of moisture in the air.

I was told just last night that Harris is ready to take the reins. TIFWIW

I believed you until this......did he see AJ's stats? Your source has zero credibility now.

What does Harris's preparation have to do with Jennings's performance?
Posted on 2/23/15 at 7:45 am to GeeOH
one man's stats have absolutely nothing to do with another man's ability.
go ahead, give me the. "...but he can't do any worse."
things can always be better, and they can always be worse.

The coaches made a decision the Harris gave them a better chance to win. Are you saying after that point, Harris stopped preparing? Even though Miles constantly said he would get reps in games?
I never said a word of preparation and neither did op...it simply said wasn't ready. My point is you don't have to be "ready" to improve our play there.

Our whole season is riding on that IMO. Jennings can improve and probably will...just won't be good enough for us to contend for SEC titles & CFP hopes. Physically, Harris has everything you need to play the position...he improves his work ethic and gets a much better grasp of the playbook, the game will start to slow down for him. I'm really expecting a decent year for Harris and even better in '16 & '17.

Shortness of breath due to the heat?
Not sure if serious????
But Yes, heart problems can cause shortness of breath. Heart pumps blood to the lungs back to the heat and to the rest of the body.
But not sure if you were joking with this statement.

Hey I want Harris to start just as much as the next guy I was just passing info from an actual player on the team.
Said Harris came in thinking he'd be the starter and just had a lot of maturing to do.

Damn dude, you act like Harris is a bum off the street.
And you answered your own question with your follow-up guidelines of appropriate responses.

The coaches made the decision that Harris earned an audition in SEC play based on previous performance. That says nothing about his preparation.. just that they went with the "QB that gave them the best chance to win."

In order to be ready, you have to prepare. That's a universal truth.

So Jennings was ready?
If you go by preparing, I guarantee you Kragthorpe kid knows as much or more than both of them guys and studies the game harder than both.
But, it comes down to talent. So are playing the hardest prepared or the more talented?

Well then why play AJ

Obviously neither was ready to play.
If Kragthorpe studies the game harder, then he should have been in there. Of course, since you're just pulling shite out of your arse and have nothing to suggest this is true, it doesn't really matter.
By all accounts, Jennings has been dedicated to becoming a better QB. Harris has not. So despite a talent discrepancy, Jennings was the starter for 12/13 games.
See: Josh Booty and Rohan Davey

August heat here and August heat in Illinois are two completely different animals. Could see him having trouble. Hopefully we see him on the field this year!!

Lol. Talk about being jerked out of ones arse. Lolololol
Maybe that's why Harris spent the summer working with the top guy in the business.
So I guess next your going to tell me jj worked harder than Lee.
