I have searched the threads and the ones I found are not helpful. I have included pictures of my yard to give you a better sense of what's going on. The first pictures are my back part of the yard which is st. augustine

This is closer to my house (I have a pool in the back that separates grass patches.) It is sod grass so I don't know what the hell the type is but I recently had to cut it because the weeds were out of control.

What do I need? I have some Atrazine but do I need something else?

I get my shite from PlantTec on Jefferson. Good people. I just sprayed with Weed Free Zone and Atrazine, both of which are the Hi-Yield brand. Also, have to make sure you use a surfactant to make it stick to the leaves.
Still too early to fertilize, unless you have rye grass everything that is green is more than likely a weed.
With in a few days everything is dead... clover, dollar weed and all that other shite that isn't supposed to be there.

Hit it with weed and feed and let it go a week then cut as low as possible, then water the frick out of it.

looks like a bunch of weeds and winter grass to me...the sod grass looks like bermuda...

basically, you can either kill the weeds or just clip them and wait for the heat to kill everything but the grass...

looks to me like the main thing is to fertilize and water correctly during the summer so that your grass can choke all of that other shite out...

Winter weeds are growing. Your "good grass" is dormnant. If you kill off the winter grass it will allow your spring grass to come easier when it's time.

Would it be ok to spray some weed free zone?

It's probably too late to worry about those weeds this year. You need to hit them with a preemergent next year. I would mow it fertilize your grass in a few weeks.

Weed Free Zone is decent, it's just so weak. Try to get some Trimec. Pretty much same active ingredients (2,4-D , mecoprop-p, and dicamba) just at a more effective dosage.

Isn't the Trimec PLUS the one with dicamba?

Thanks.

The "plus" is something that one has and not the other, if I remember right.

My back yard looked like yours two weeks ago. I hit it with weed free zone and all the weeds are dead.
Still to early to weed n feed.

What do y'all recommend for Dallisgrass?? That shite held strong through winter and I'm not accepting another Spring/Summer of it this year. When and how do I get that shite in check??

Maybe MSMA or round-up at a 1% rate- depending on what kind of grass do you have?

For dallis, use certainty at 1.25oz/acre along with MSMA.
