Wisniewski has been playing center in Oakland. but I think he is better at guard. We need to draft a center, preferably Reese Dismukes

I'd be happy with Collins. I don't care if he's projected lower, or not.
We need good linemen more than anything else. Ingram has looked very good with blocking, and awful without any. Brees can make any WR a weapon with time, he becomes an INT machine when he's scrambling.

I'd be good with O-line first 3 rounds.

I disagree.....It was last year with Goodwin at C and pretty bad play on each side at guard positions...

But depth was always the issue this year, both at Tackle and Guard/Center. I'd feel pretty confident with him playing LG, C, RG, and RT (in a pinch). At the least, he would be backup. If he is as good as advertised, he'd be a starter at C/G and still provide depth on the bench by displacing a starter.

Success for the Saints depends on keeping Drew Brees upright. I wouldn't be upset with them grabbing him in the first. But if they think passing him up to get a better quality guy late in the draft (like they did with Nicks) I'd be happy too.

I make fun of a lot of LSU player threads on here, but Collins would be an excellent choice. I was really hoping for a Jeremy Hill or Odell Beckham pick last year, too.

i think its the boards consensus that we desperately need help on the o-line. collins is one of the top of his class, so it would definitely help the team. wouldnt mind the pick at all.

We couldn't have gotten OBJ/Hill without trading up in the 1st/2nd round.

Definitely sounds like he's tearing it up at the combine.

Collins would be a great pick in round 1, but unlikely. Sean has an aversion for LSU players. The one I really like is Magee late...

Right now, the guy Ali Marpet is tearing up the combine. Might be raw, but he is showing out. I think they are saying he can play any position on the Oline.

i thnk 13 is a little high unless we are sold on this guy being a pro bowl caliber OG and think we should go that way.

personally i think he could be an elite guard.

Looks like Scherff pulled a hammy. His 40 time was almost exactly the same as Marpet... negligible difference.

Classic combine.

Years of footage but tears it up at combine.

Combine should be to just to determine if they are free from injuries, from small school how do they compare and/or they measure like advertised.
