They obviously didn't see the Braves trot out Andres Thomas, Gary Roenicke, Albert Hall, and Bruce Benedict everyday. That was in my afternoon routine though... Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith, Braves, and Sanford and Son.
In 1987, Dale Murphy hit 44 homeruns and batted .295. They still lost 92 games. Just terrible teams all around.

Yall are pretty pessimistic about the upcoming season eh? 4 pages? Hell even the Astros thread has 17 pages and we've been garbage for years.

Is he supposed to make the club? I heard early talk that he could be the 5th starter but I know he's struggled in ST. Knock on him was his control and may wind up in the bullpen to try to harness the fastball for 3 outs.

I watched the game against the Marlins the other night and Wandy had no hits through 4 or 5. He looked sharp.

Does anyone think Terdoslavich makes the bench this year? He's been better in the field this spring than I remember him. I've also seen him at first I believe.

Not much to like about this team imo. I'm sure by OD I'll be more excited but I'm dreading watching this offense 162 times.

I'm guessing you don't keep up with transactions, but three of our best players were traded as part of a partial rebuild. Two of which were fan favorites. We are expected to do pretty bad and it appears that we aren't going to jot out too many prospects at the start of the year to follow so yeah, pretty pessimistic.

I think most people enjoyed turner field and how the ballpark was laid out. So the stadium design didn't need to stray too far from what we had. The problem with the Ted was the location and infrastructure surrounding the park.
I remember two years ago for a giants game my girlfriend took a wrong turn by the stadium and were stuck in traffic for the first three innings of the game. We just rolled the windows down and listened from Hank Aaron Dr
